Computing
1 practical guides to help you understand the details and choose your next step.
Where to begin
Browser image processing needs working memory as well as space for the downloaded result. A compressed file can expand into millions of pixels while it is decoded. Distinguish a processing problem from a download or storage problem before retrying.
- If processing stops, try one image at a time and close unused tabs. A small file can still have large pixel dimensions.
- If processing finishes but saving fails, check the download location and available device storage. More storage does not increase browser working memory.
- Keep the original until the exported copy opens correctly. Reduce dimensions only when the destination allows it.
